Skanska has leveraged its in-house skills and capabilities to develop a bespoke data visualisation platform designed to make accessing project information quick and simple.
The platform offers a comprehensive view of a project’s engineering design within a real-world context, presented in an easy-to-consume format for all users. Its user-friendly interface is complemented by dashboards that display real-time data, allowing users to analyse and access information in various formats tailored to specific tasks.
This innovation enhances collaboration and unlocks potential for greater efficiency and productivity during project delivery.
Project teams, supply chain partners, and customers can securely access live project information at any time from any mobile or desktop device, without the need for a licence. Complex engineering, design, cost, programme and risk data can be easily viewed and interrogated with just a few clicks, enabling informed, ‘right first time’ decision-making.
Susan Ryall, Skanska’s Engineering & Design Director, said: “This platform gives the ability to integrate multiple data sets into an easy-to-use platform which brings information to life in a visual and accessible manner. It allows projects, customers and supply chain to have the right information at the right time enabling real time data driven decision making.”
