Veolia to deliver specialist engineering and maintenance services to NHS and public sector buildings

Global resource management company Veolia is set to deliver Specialist Estates Engineering and Maintenance Services to a range of NHS and public sector authorities, after securing a place on the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) Hard FM Framework. With a focus on maintaining essential infrastructure to support hospitals and local authorities, and reducing carbon emissions, the framework agreement will provide a wide range of cost-effective services for buildings across the UK.

Designed to provide a one stop shop for organisations to meet their engineering and maintenance requirements, the framework will provide customers with expert services that combine quality, value and compliance. The comprehensive range of services from Veolia includes the provision of renewable and low carbon heating systems, solar PV electricity generation, air conditioning, electrical works, heating and plumbing, standby power generation, and managed FM.

Committed to maximising the economic and environmental benefit through bespoke procurement solutions for the public sector, the NOE CPC framework agreements are linked to the NHS Net Zero supplier roadmap which aims to achieve the world’s first net zero national health service.

Commenting on this latest project, John Abraham, Chief Operating Officer – Industrial, Water & Energy for UK, Ireland and Nordics said: “Through this new framework agreement we will be able to extend our services to more NHS and public sector facilities, and help accelerate decarbonisation.  By delivering the expert services essential to support these facilities, this further highlights our goal to help our customers reduce their carbon emissions through our strategic GreenUP programme.”

“This actively demonstrates our commitment to counter climate change, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the NHS and the public sector, and helping them achieve their net zero target.”
